Job Description:

Our client is a leader in the Women's Outerwear market, they are seeking an experienced & enthusiastic high levelSenior Sales Executiveto join the team. This role will focus on opening new accounts with high volume major retailers such as Walmart, Target, Kohl's, and more. The ideal candidate will be a team player with established contacts and have a minimum of 10 years of selling experience. They will possess the ability to work independently with cross functional teams in design, sourcing & production while managing sales to major retailers. This position will be a direct report to the VP of Sales & Merchandising.

Our ideal candidate will have an established network of Women's Outerwear relationships with buyers and management teams at major retailers such as Walmart, Target, Kohl's and Primark to name a few. Our applicant must possess a proven track record of opening up new business while meeting companies margin goals. Position comes with an expectation to deliver a minimum of 5 million in volume within the first year.

The listed salary range estimate is a combination of base and commission

Key responsibilities are as follows:

--- Extensive focus on building partnerships with high volume retailers
--- Solicit, schedule, track sales appointments for prospective new accounts
--- Present product line to all levels of prospective new retailers
--- Deliver product knowledge, competitive market trends and insights to retail buying teams
--- Negotiate and close sales deals
--- Forecast business with management to achieve sales plans
--- Work independently as well as with a team
--- Knowledge of time & action calendars
--- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
--- Travel when necessary
--- Analyze retail selling reports
--- Understand & identify white space for proscriptive new clients
--- Navigate inventory on A2000 system
--- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
