Job Description:
A company is looking for a Remote Sign Language Interpreter to
provide interpretation services for K-12 students who are deaf or
hard of hearing in Oregon.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide remote interpretation services in educational settings,
including classrooms and virtual IEP meetings
Use American Sign Language (ASL) to facilitate communication
between students, educators, and staff
Collaborate with teachers to support student needs and ensure
proper accommodations
Qualifications:
Valid Oregon certification or licensure as a Sign Language
Interpreter (RID, NAD, or equivalent)
EIPA score of 3.5 or higher preferred
Experience in educational settings is advantageous
Proficient in ASL
Reliable high-speed internet connection and comfort with virtual
communication platforms
