Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Waterview Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality physical therapy services to our residents.Responsibilities:

• Organize and conduct physical therapy programs planned and overseen by the Physical Therapist to facilitate rehabilitation of residents with decreased functions.
• Assist in planning, organizing, developing, and implementing physical therapy services under the supervision of the Physical Therapist, ensuring the highest degree of quality resident care.
• Perform treatment programs for assigned residents and enter billing information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Report resident progress in meetings and consult with other members of the rehabilitation team to coordinate physical therapy with other therapeutic activities.Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy Assistant, PTA.
  • Licensed in NY State as a Physical Therapist Assistant, PTA; license in good standing.
  • Previous skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience highly preferred.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and willingness to work harmoniously with all staff.
  • Sincere desire to work with the elderly, chronically ill, and handicapped.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate well verbally with residents, families, and staff.
