Nursing Director Job Opportunity in White Plains, NY At Martine Center , a 200-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility located in the heart of White Plains, NY, we are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Assistant Director of Nursing. As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing Services with management responsibilities and maintaining the quality of care. This includes assisting with compliance, ensuring effective communication with all levels of nursing staff, and meeting the medical needs of our residents. Key duties and responsibilities include:

• Assisting with management responsibilities and maintaining the quality of care
• Assisting with compliance and ensuring effective communication with all levels of nursing staff
• Meeting the medical needs of our residents
• Coordinating and directing the total planning for nursing services
• Maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of general nursing theory and practice
• Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of medical records
• Assisting with interviewing, hiring, and orienting of new nursing staff
• Overseeing daily staffing processes
• Infection control Requirements:
  • Current State RN license required
  • Min. 3 years of experience in Long-Term Care settings
  • 2 years of management experience preferred
  • 1 year of staff education experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Evidence of basic leadership skills and supervision
