Job Description:
A company is looking for a Hospital Medical Biller to join their
Billing Team.
Key Responsibilities
Research and re-bill unpaid claims and manage hospital and
professional claims
Verify insurance benefits, set up patient financial files, and
generate billing invoices
Negotiate on accounts past due and resolve denied or pending
claims
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience with Medicare billing in a
hospital setting
Proven experience with hospital inpatient and outpatient billing,
including OPPS & IPPS
Experience with the Medicare DDE system for claim processing
Ability to understand and correct T code rejections from the
Medicare RTP report
Capability to function independently in billing and follow-up
processes
