Job Description:

Experienced accountant/in house bookkeeper sought for hospitality group operating Il Gattopardo, The Leopard, Mozzarella & Vino restaurants and Il Gattopardo Catering. Must support day-to-day financial activities including producing accurate financial records and assisting with financial statements.Responsibilities include supporting CFO with daily procedures, recording and balancing general ledger accounts, conducting expense analysis, verifying cash and credit deposits, and filing sales tax.

• Support CFO with daily procedures to record and report transactions
• Record and balance general ledger accounts
• Conduct expense analysis and review budget variances
• Verify cash and credit deposits
• Bank reconciliation
• File sales tax and track governmental requirements
• Assist with annual budget preparation
• Control inventory cost
• Assist with year-end closing and outside auditor interaction
• Enter weekly payroll and human resources functionsQualifications include Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, 2+ years of accounting experience, excellent communication skills, and working knowledge of Quickbooks, Office 365, and ADP Workforce.
